CFD Death Cafe: Grief Around the Holidays

We will begin with a presentation that begins promptly at 3:30pm. Deborah Golden Alecson will present, “Grief Around the Holidays: Missing the Ones We Love.” Deborah is an adjunct professor at Excelsior College, School of Heath, Science and Nursing, teaching “Ethics of Health Care”. Deborah has written three books focused on death, dying and bereavement. Death Cafés help us move towards what CFD envisions as "a society that mindfully accepts dying and death as a part of everyday life". Come mingle during live music, sample our cakes and coffee.
