When: Sat., June 9, 7:30 p.m. 2018
After a brief introduction, we will be airing the documentary “Robert Kennedy Remembered” that was presented at the 1968 Chicago Democratic National Convention. Afterward we shall discuss the implications of that years events and how it affects American society/politics relative to today. The audience will then be given an opportunity to share their reflections and memories of that era of history. After the program there will be an open mic for musical/poetic performances featuring songs from the 60’s and 70’s. Bring your instruments and voices. Refreshments/snacks will be provided along with water, tea and coffee.
