When: Sun., March 18, 2-3:30 p.m. 2018
Three speakers from the Hudson Valley will share their stories of how their human rights efforts were opposed by the Israel Lobby. One is a prominent journalist who was forced into retirement for writing articles about the West Bank. Another is a political activist who tried to introduce a human rights resolution to the Dutchess Co. legislature, and the third is a student from Fordham University whose organization, Students for Justice in Palestine, was thrown off campus. Sponsored by: Middle East Crisis Response, Hudson Valley BDS, Jewish Voice for Peace-HV, and Veterans for Peace.
