It seems like everyone has food allergies or dietary restrictions these days. But for the lucky few who have escaped that crucible, pizza is a cherished go-to. Filled with gluten and topped with melty cheese, this is the ultimate indulgence, while also being quick, delicious, and usually cheap.

Of course, New York City has the best pizza, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get gooey greatness elsewhere. We polled readers and coworkers to find out the best places to order a slice of pizza in the Hudson Valley. And although you probably won't roadtrip for a slice, if you find yourself in any of these neighborhoods you'll be glad to know where to go.
