Be Aware, Know the Signs, Prevent Youth Trafficking

This presentation touches upon definitions of both sex and labor trafficking with a specific focus on Safe Harbour law. The presentation is intended to broaden perspectives of what trafficking can look like among youth. High risk populations will be discussed in addition to the red flags associated with trafficking (many of which also pertain to adults), trauma informed care, how to engage youth in conversations about trafficking and what to do if someone suspects a youth may be trafficked.
