Annual Heritage Applefest

When: Sun., Oct. 6 2019

Celebrate Hudson Valley harvests at Boscobel with cider pressing, apple preserving, and sweet and hard cider sampling. Renowned entertainer Mark Rust will enthrall guests with his spectacular array of music and tales. Boscobel Museum Educator Lisa DiMarzo will give kid-friendly tours of the apple orchard. Classical guitarist Daniel Stevens will serenade guests with period music. Penny Brickman of the Philipstown Garden Club will discuss and demo spinning flax and wool in the Herb Garden. 19th-century games and activities will be available for play throughout the event. Sweet and hard cider, apple cider doughnuts, apple cider butter, and apple cider syrup will be available for purchase.
