Angry Orchard Wassail

Winter is upon us and Angry Orchard is resting after a bountiful harvest and hosting cider drinkers from near and far. On February 2nd and 3rd, we invite you to share in the tradition and celebrate Angry Orchard’s WASSAIL and the Second Annual bottle release of our Wassail Wooden Sleeper! Wassailing is a tradition practiced in the cider orchards of southern England during the winter. A folktale from Somerset reflecting this custom tells of the spirit of the oldest apple tree in the orchard, in whom the fertility of the orchard is thought to reside.
