Baltimore-based street artist Gaia stopped by our office to talk about the new six-story mural he created in Uptown Kingston for this year's O+ Festival. The 26-year-old artist is a rising star in the art world, with commissions from Sheboygan to Vladivostok and many cities in-between. Gaia's work can also be seen in galleries, making him heir apparent to artists like Keith Haring who straddled the divide between the public and fine art spheres.

The O+ Festival kicks off on Friday in Kingston. Full schedule here. A portfolio of Gaia's work can be viewed here.
