American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS) Class

his course is designed to prepare AHA instructors to disseminate the science, skills and philosophy of resuscitation programs to participants enrolled in AHA courses. Current AHA BLS HCP certification is required (it must be an AHA certification; no other type of CPR, such as CPR Pro or CPR 1-2-3 will be accepted) and prior teaching experience is beneficial. Course completion results in a certification card valid for two years from the AHA. This is a multipart course consisting of online training that needs to be completed prior to the classroom based training.
