All Abilities Kids! Story time for kids with special needs

Inspired by sensory storytimes, All Abilities Kids Storytime includes a picture book told in multiple modalities. Using a visual schedule, we will also have movement & song activities. As caregivers are the best judges of their children’s interests and abilities, there is no age restriction; however, activities are at a pre-school level and designed for children with neuro-developmental difficulty and/or cognitive disabilities. The third-floor Community Room offers a quiet environment with reduced sensory stimuli. Advanced registration is required as attendance is limited.
