As Thom Roberts' youngest son, (born in 1978), I just want to express my appreciation for this article and for Bob Wyatt. One of my older brothers, with the first name Wyatt, is named after him; so Bob was always known in our family as "Big Wyatt." He was a true friend to my dad and, I'm pretty sure, he saved his ass more than a few more times over the years. I don't know if he knows this consciously or not, but growing up, Bob's home was a magical place of creative discovery, amazing homemade bread, tasty, new culinary treats (for my young palate),and most of all... a place where I could always feel my mom and dad left their troubles behind and allowed themselves to enjoy and unwind in his kingdom of books and warm eccentricity. It pleases my heart to see "Big W" and his home being honored in this way, and I look forward to reading his book. Thanks.
