A Taste of Morocco features classic Moroccan dishes and one complimentary bottle of wine per two guests (limited wine selection includes red, white, and rose). The dinner will take place on the back patio of the center’s museum building and will include a special introduction from Bethel Woods’ executive chef, Joel Trocino. The outdoor back patio will be enclosed with temporary walls and standing heaters, for a warm, cozy dining experience. Water, soda, coffee and tea are complimentary, and additional beverages will be available for purchase. The dinner will take place just prior Darlene Love’s “Home for the Holidays” concert performance (concert admission must be purchased separately).
The menu for the program includes Loaded Hummus (charred tomatoes, roasted garlic, grilled onions, parsley, olives, EVOO, warm pita); Harira (spiced Moroccan soup with chickpeas and cilantro); Braised Lamb Shank (cinnamon, orange, Thumbelina carrots, parsnip puree) or Vegetarian Substitute (vegetable tagine, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, spice); and Almond, M’hencha (pistachio, honey, rose)
A Taste of Morocco will take place at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on December 11 from 5pm to 7pm. Tickets are $75 (guests must 21 or older).
