A Poem: Stitched

Take this time
to consider
what your hands have touched.

Move as a current
slowly, within
the caverns of your wrinkles.

Push those bodies
inside and out,
until the pieces are molded together.

When you’re compacted,
step, both feet,
into the flesh laid there.
