The legendary Petrucci Gallery was established in 1975 in Saugerties and featured American paintings, sculptures & fine art prints from the 1920’s to 1990’s. Owned & operated by Walter F. Petrucci, it was noted for presenting works of present & past Woodstock artists as well as established regional artists. Before closing in 1994, the gallery showed more than 175 solo artist or group exhibitions, plus six traveling exhibitions and two international exhibitions. Art historian & authority on the historic Woodstock art colony, Bruce Weber will engage in a conversation with Walter F. Petrucci about the gallery and its colorful history.
