This Old Hudson
Gut renovated by Anthony D’Argenzio of Zio & Sons, This Old Hudson, a two-unit, short-term rental property in Hudson, was a playground for the designer’s elegant, innovative taste. The open and airy house beautifully balances modern, rustic, and farmhouse touches in a style D’Argenzio calls Upstate Scandinavian. Intended as a multipurpose retreat for creatives, there are spaces for lounging and working, gathering, and focusing.
The Villa at Saugerties
A refreshing departure from the rustic Hudson Valley vernacular, The Villa at Saugerties offers a romantic, Mediterranean-inspired Catskills retreat. Owners Joe Moseley and Amanda Zaslow describe the Villa as “our Mediterranean modern oasis in the Hudson Valley.” Situated on 3.6 acres just outside of the village, the design was inspired by the couple’s honeymoon to Spain.

Located at the foot of Hunter Mountain in Phoenicia, The Graham & Co. is a fun, perfectly kitschy, and comfortable place to bed down for the night. Amenities at the 20-room hotel include a spring-fed swimming pool (with throwback lounge chairs from the ’80s), evening bonfires, badminton, free bikes for your local transportation needs, and kitchenettes in some rooms.
Old Game Farm | Catskill
The Old Game Farm in Catskill, once the largest privately owned zoo in the US, was purchased by a local couple in 2012. They’ve recently converted the former giraffe house into a five-room B&B called the Long Neck Inn. The exquisitely strange 150-acre property also offers Tentrr glamping sites with upscale wall tents equipped with a woodstove, a grill, a picnic table, and a canvas tent with a queen-sized bed. In honor of its history, the Old Game Farm is working to include a petting zoo and museum that guests can visit, which will make for an engaging and niche vacationing experience.
