Ain’t in it for My Health at Upstate Films

Filmmaker Jacob Hatley lived in Woodstock at Levon Helms's for more than two years, and captured an intimate portrait of the legendary musicians life in his fly-on-the-wall documentary, Ain't in it for My Health. Upstate Films will host two screenings of the film. Once in Woodstock on April 13 at 2pm, and once in Rhinebeck on the evening of April 14. (A ramble will be held at the Levon Helm Studio Saturday evening.) The Woodstock screening will be followed by an in-person appearance by Amy Helm, Levon's daughter, and Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, members of the Band. The tickets for the Woodstock show are $20, and they're $12 for the Rhinebeck screening. The money will help benefit Upstate Films' conversion to digital HD. Listen to Steve Leiber of Upstate Films discuss this special event as well as Upstate's digital cinema drive. Subscribe to the 8-Day Week Podcast here.
