This workshop will focus on bridging the practice of recovery with the benefits of yoga. Both recovery and yoga invite us to stretch, to move, and to grow, to examine ourselves and a willingness to move into the unknown. This workshop will help us inhabit the 12 steps- integrating them into a physical practice. We'll move through postures connecting our practice to themes found in the 12 steps of recovery: surrender, trust, willingness, self-examination, balance and gratitude. Suitable for beginners as well as those with an established yoga practice , the workshop will end a guided meditation.
