In his new book, Gluck explores the music of the revolutionary Bitches Brew-era group—Davis’s first electric band—to illuminate a period of extraordinary transition in American music. For the concert, he’ll be joined by drummer Tani Tabbal, bassist Michael Bisio, and saxophonist Adam Siegel will play “freely drawn renditions of repertoire from the late 1960s Davis Quintet.”
Immerse yourself here in a 2015 solo performance by Gluck:
