Besides the Lou thing, the young Nova Scotian quartet has also landed likenings to poetic post-punks like the Verlaines, the Only Ones, Josef K, and the Go-Betweens, thanks to their sparse, angular-jangly guitars and singer Nigel Chapman’s monochromatic musings and confessional, conversational style.
