The buzz of Hudson's recent dining addition Fish & Game grows more potent as the restaurant introduces breakfast items to its Saturday and Sunday menus. From 11am to 3pm, diners can take a seat inside the salon/lounge or outside on the patio during the nicer seasonal mornings to enjoy an array of high quality yet affordable dishes.
As a chameleon manipulates its skin to adapt to environmental changes, so do chefs Zakary Pelaccio, Jori Jayne Emde, and Kevin Pomplun alter their menu to serve the freshest and most delectable items of the week. With the new breakfast menu, a customer might find himself licking the plate clean after eggs en cocotte with house bacon, toast, aged butter, and jam or craving more homemade granola & yogurt with fresh fruit. The menu offers fresh baked biscuits, croissants, danishes, and buns as prepared by pastry chef Walter Grohs. Finish up your meal with coffee, tea, or one of Fish & Game's inventive champagne, beer, and seasonal cocktails. With pastries at $5 and dishes ranging from $7 to $15, Fish & Game may soon become one of the Hudson Valley's new breakfast hotspots.
Located within a once lively blacksmith's shop, Fish & Game found its way into the Hudson Valley dining scene in May of 2013 upon the initiative of Chef Zakary Pelaccio. With the help of his wife and partner, Chef Jori Jayne Emde, and their co-chef Kevin Pomplyn, Pelaccio shaped a menu bent upon harnessing Hudson Valley's fresh and local produce, meats, and herbs. Fish & Game also offers an extensive wine list and a variety of cocktails and beverages. Pelaccio, of Fatty Crab and 'Cue fame, elevates the Hudson Valley culinary scene to match the finest across the country.
