Early last month the organizers of Albany’s second annual MOVE Music Festival announced the lineup for the 2013 edition, which happens on April 27. This year the rock-heavy event features a whopping 108 live acts that will perform at 11 top Capital Area venues.
Among the dozens of solo artists and bands slated to appear at the festival are Chronogram-covered reggae/ska band the Big Takeover and songsmith Sean Rowe, whose brooding genius can be sampled via this clip of him live on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert”:
MOVE newcomers this year include Lunic, Black Mountain Symphony, the Tins, Sticklips, Paranoid Social Club, Young London, and more. And with a crazy-low general admission price of $15 per person, the ears of festival goers get quite a return.
