Chicken Math: An Unlikely Homestead in Freehold
David Krause and Ayan Chatterjee on the front porch of their 1850 Colonial-style farmhouse. The four-bedroom farmhouse required extensive renovation. With the help of local contractor Bob Briski, they carefully updated the home for modern life. “We wanted the house to feel timeless,” says Krause. After revamping the home’s siding with the help of a local wood mill, they chose All White for the home’s exterior and Strong White for the shutters, both by Farrow and Ball.
