Two unique, yet complimentary views of Woodstock’s story are presented by Richard Heppner and Jeremy Wilber as they discuss their new books. In Everyday History Richard Heppner, Woodstock Town Historian, examines many of the collective challenges that have moved Woodstock forward as a community and the irrepressible spirit of those who would forge their own paths in an ever-changing world. At the same time, he offers the belief that, by claiming our own “everyday history”, we raise the truth about our past above nostalgia and manipulation by commercial interests.
