When: Saturdays, 2-3 p.m. Continues through June 30
This class is designed to provide, in one one-hour session, all the instruction you will need to begin a meditation practice at home. The class includes: (1) the way to develop a body position that is stable; (2) quieting your mind by watching your breathing; (3) training the mind to deal with drowsiness or nervousness during meditation; (4) observing and becoming familiar with your mind. Class meets in the Amitabha Shrine Room (next to the bookstore). No preregistration is required.
