In Times of Change: An Art Exhibition

Jamie Emerson has been the Artist in Residence at the Art/Life Institute for the past 6 months. During that time, he created a series of drawings, paintings and sculptures that are always fundamentally rooted in drawing from life. The artist also participated in the Festival del Huerto Roma in Mexico City by contributing a mural painting, exhibited a body of artwork created while at Standing Rock, ND), and curated an exhibition of his Standing Rock artwork at Chashama in NYC. The exhibition is a survey of the creative projects executed during the residency, presenting both artifacts and their context.
