Film: Spin Slowly | Visual Art | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine


In this short film entitled "Spin Slowly," stay at home mom, Sondra DeAngelo (Summer Corrie), finds out that her only brother, Christian Carroll (Evan Leone), has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. While already coping with her dysfunctional home life including her synthetic husband Julian (Tony Grocki) and estranged son Dominick (Sean Grocki), she is now faced with the horror of losing one of the people closest to her. When she realizes that for the first time she can no longer protect her younger brother and his welfare is out of her control, Sondra’s mind begins to take a bitter turn which forces her to choose between her family, her brother and her sanity. In this psychological thriller written and directed by T. George McArdle (Four, The Sirrico Interview), take a ride through the abstract world of hallucinations, dreams and flashbacks where anything can happen to anyone once the mind derails.
"Spin Slowly" will be screened on Saturday, April 18 at Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston.
