Encaustic Mini Workshop

Designed to give artists a hands on introduction to the encaustic process. A one-hour demonstration is followed by independent work time, giving participants a chance to experiment with the paint and tools. Mini Workshops are ideal for artists who are curious about encaustic but don't have any previous experience. The topics covered will include: what is encaustic; how to get started; health and safety; and the most popular techniques and applications. If you’ve worked with encaustic before and desire a refresher course, feel free to participate knowing there is an instructor available to answer your questions.
