A Poem: The Mistake | Poetry | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
I don’t know why I did it she
told me he wanted me
that’s all I guess
that’s more than all the boys
I met everywhere else
in classes in the bars I
know he’s my father’s age
he actually knows
my father that’s how we met I
knew it was a mistake at
the time but he worshipped me
literally
